For the majority of his career, Danny has been best known for his collaboration with some of the most famous and successful sports celebrities of our time. Due in part to his high school background of sports participation, including a state indoor championship in the pole vault and captain of the football team, Danny developed a love of and passion for the imagery of sport and athletic competition. Some of the more notable superstars to be portrayed on Danny's canvases include Muhammad Ali, basketball greats Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal, golfers Jack Nicklaus and Fred Couples, Hall of Famers Joe Montana, John Elway and Dan Marino, baseball legends Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Tony Gwynn, and Derek Jeter, among many others. Danny collaborated with Bill Walton to create a stunning montage dedicated to John Wooden and his UCLA dynasty, and most recently was commissioned to create a painting for OSU football coach Urban Meyer depicting the Buckeyes journey to the 2014 National Championship. All of the athletes collaborated with Danny by signing the limited editions, and in some cases, particpating in public forums and shows, or even purchasing the beautiful original oil paintings.
